Genetic testing for longevity — which service gives the most useful data?

D

I want to get genetic testing done with a focus on longevity-relevant variants (APOE, FOXO3, CETP, MTHFR, etc). 23andMe has been declining, Nebula offers whole genome sequencing, and SelfDecode focuses on health optimization. Has anyone compared these? I care more about actionable health insights than ancestry.

Knowing your APOE status is arguably the most actionable longevity genetic test. It directly affects your cardiovascular and Alzheimer's risk strategy.

I did Nebula whole genome and used Promethease + SelfDecode for interpretation. The raw data is most valuable — services come and go but your genome doesn't change.

Be prepared for results you might not want. I found out I'm APOE4/4 and it sent me into an anxiety spiral before I developed a proactive plan.
