New Kaeberlein paper on rapamycin in dogs — thoughts?

K

The Dog Aging Project just published their latest rapamycin results. The treated group showed significantly better cardiac function and owner-reported activity levels. What's interesting is the dose-response curve — they found a sweet spot that's lower than what most people in the longevity community are taking. Link to the paper below.

Kaeberlein's work has been consistently excellent. The fact that they're seeing cardiac benefits at lower doses is encouraging for the human translation.

My vet actually mentioned this study. Apparently some dog owners are already asking about it.

I wonder if the dog metabolism makes direct dose translation tricky. The allometric scaling might not be straightforward.
